Giving the Fun Gift of Personalized Poker Chips

By Brian Garvin

Have you ever considered buying some personalized poker chips? If you have, but are yet to make your mind up, here are a few points you might like to consider. Firstly, personalized poker chips are an opportunity to bring a little originality and fun into the game. They would actually make a great gift for anyone you know who stages regular games at home, or even for your self if you play host too. Personalizing chips is a great gimmick, but it does take a little bit of thought if the personalization is going to stand the test of time.

But before you rush off and start buying any personalized poker chips, give it some serious thought beforehand. To make a gift that will have lasting meaning, you may need to put your thinking cap on. The usual method of personalizing poker chips is to print them with the person's name, or initials, and or the date of presentation, or even their birth date. But if you delve a little deeper, you may be able to come up with something a bit more appropriate, (some sort of joke, or event that was enjoyed and shared in the past).

The more appropriate the personalization is, the more it is going to mean to the recipient, and the more they will value the gift and the thought behind it. Some companies actually give personalized poker chips as a gift to long serving employees, or employees who have reached a particular target or milestone. Company gifts of this nature can of course be decorated with the company's name or their logo, or even both.

When you know how you are going to do the personalization, the next thing to do is to track down a good supplier. You'll find plenty of choice if you search online. You need to ascertain that the chips the supplier uses are best quality; but not only that; you also need to ascertain that their quality of print is up to the job too. You don't want something that is going to fade of break within a matter of months. You want to make sure they will last so that the gift carries on giving pleasure to its user.

Also, don't forget to check around to see whether anybody else wants to buy some personalized poker chips too, or whether there are more beneficiaries you can think of gifting them to. The larger the quantity you can buy, the better. You may find you can get a better price by grouping the purchases all together on the one order, and you will certainly save on shipping costs.

But just do a little bit of careful supplier research before committing to anything. This is especially vital if the company you're thinking of using want cash up front. It that is the case, you just need to make sure they will supply the goods once they've had your money. It's also good to know what their customer service record is like. If you've got any complaints about quantity or quality, or whatever, you need to ensure that the company will do their level best to get any complaints sorted out quickly and efficiently. You don't want to be left holding the baby.

It also would not hurt to check out the companies promise for quality products. What if the poker chips you received are not exactly what you ordered or what if they are slightly misspelled or something to that nature? And what if you simply do not like the way they look once the arrive to your house? You want to make sure that you are researching the companies customer satisfaction statement to see if refunds or exchanges are honored.
